We where given the honor of restoring and bringing new life to this heritage listed residence that was damaged in the Christchurch earthquakes.
It’s new owners sought to reinstate the home to its former glory, while making their own mark on it. All triple and double brick walls were removed and replaced one by one, with only the foundations and slate roof remaining. Everything else is new, including our signature glazed sliding wall and outdoor entertaining area.
You’ll notice this home now caters for a wonderful comfortable life – with a large outdoor pool, adjoining louvered BBQ area and easy-to-maintain surrounding gardens. We love showcasing this project as one with fabulous indoor/outdoor connections. When designed right it means the interior living spaces are bathed in sunlight without solar gain so it's maximising on comfort for our clients.
